Infatuation starts the minute you set your eyes on the
Dolomiti range of Northern Italy!
Majestic limestone peaks glow pink in the morning and afternoon sunshine. Warm Sud-Tyrolean hospitality with fastidious attention to detail. High mountain pathways reveal magnificent landscapes and infinite opportunities for mouth-watering culinary traditions.
All this and more makes the Dolomiti the sexiest mountain range in Europe.
On the southern side of the Alps facing the Mediterranean, the climate of the Dolomites is warm and inviting, much like the culture of the region itself. The high mountain regions belong to the distinctly Tyrolean (Austrian) mountain culture while the uniquely charming towns of the valleys feel slightly more Italian. However, the region is confident in its unique identity and independent character, complete with specific traditions and its own distinct language, Ladin.

On this trip, we explore the high mountain footpaths and climb breathtaking mountain passes to charming mountain rifugios where stunning views of the iconic Dolomite towers abound. We’ll stay in charming villages of the region, each with their own unique historic character and wander cobble-stoned streets of small idyllic villages dating back to 888 AD as we try ALL the cheeses, wines, and other delicious dishes that are so local you can’t find them anywhere else…that’s right, you gotta be there to get it!
Our hiking route links the most authentic of the Dolomite regions together through some of the most sublime landscapes anywhere on the planet. The majority of our day is spent wandering through the splendorous Dolomiti scenery, stopping for a lunch of local charcuterie or homemade pastas at a rifugio. We’ll have one layover day in which there is an option to do a world-class Via Ferrata, which is translated literally as “iron path” and is a thrilling way to appreciate the vertical Dolomite towers up close.
Our nights are spent in 4-star hotels that were chosen because they most accurately reflect the unique character of the regions and enrich the cultural experience…oh, and they also have fantastic food and immaculate grounds complete with spa facilities. We aim to finish our hike in the afternoon with time for chilling, spa-ing or doing some restorative yoga to unwind the day.
This hiking and yoga trip brings you to the best of the Dolomites!
